What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis is the world’s leading cause of foot and heel pain. In fact, 1 in 10 people will suffer from this condition in their lifetime. Women are 6 times more likely to suffer from it. So, what is plantar fasciitis? In this video, one of our chiropractors will help you understand this condition and learn how to identify it:
The plantar fascia is the connecting ligament between the heel bone and toes that holds the arch of the foot. Plantar fasciitis may be caused by a strain in this ligament. This injury may lead to pain swelling, and anyone can be affected by it. Plantar fasciitis is a common condition among middle age people and athletes.
