Dr. Sheldon Winter, DC, HBSc. ART ACU

Dr. Sheldon Winter is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College; he also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Biology and Psychology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Dr. Winter also expanded his chiropractic education by obtaining a certification in Active Release Technique (ART ®), and a Diploma from the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University.
His provision of care to his patients include the utilization of chiropractic manipulation, acupuncture, soft tissue techniques, and exercise therapy.
His personal philosophy of utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches under Functional Integrated Therapy allows him to provide not only injury and rehabilitation care, but performance and maintenance care as well.
As a life-long athlete Dr. Winter has a continued interest in sports and sports-related injuries. He also maintains an active lifestyle in the gym and plays baseball, basketball, squash and soccer. He is also a passionate animal lover and has a dog named Jackson whom he spoils.
Dr. Winter continues to master new treatment and diagnostic techniques focusing on improving his patients’ functional movements, daily activities, and athletic performance.
Dr. Winter believes continuous learning and the application of new techniques are essential to the treatment and care of his patients. His diversified and integrated approach allows him to successfully treat people of all ages and improve their performance, function and health.
